A Christmas Story
(HOLIDAY SHOW)
By Philp Grecian
Loved the film? Just like the movie, the all-for fun family show includes playground bullies, soapy mouth-washings and a coveted BB gun.
November 16, 2010 – December 31, 2010
Everyone’s rooting for Ralphie – well, at least everyone in the audience. Onstage, his mom, dad, brother, neighborhood and even Santa seem to be standing between him and that Red Rider BB gun he so desperately wants. Based on the beloved film, this CTC debut production adds new twists to the class tale about a Midwestern working-class family celebrating the holidays the only way they know how, complete with drama, humor, and an incredibly tacky lamp.
Based on the motion picture A Christmas Story, 1983 Turner Entertainment Co., Distributed by Warner Brothers. Written by Jean Shepherd, Leigh Brown, and Bob Clark and on the book In God We Trust: All others Pay Cash by Jean Shepherd.
Tickets: $20-$44
