CTC Seeks Adult Non-Union DANCER/ACROBAT/SINGERS for The Lorax!
CTC is looking to cast adult male and female Non-AEA dancers for the upcoming production of The Lorax. Rehearsals begin March 13th, 2018 and performances run through June 10th, followed by a transfer to The Old Globe in San Diego, CA early July through mid-August.
The Creative Team, led by Director Max Webster (Associate Director of The Old Vic Theatre in London) with Puppet Director Finn Caldwell (War Horse) is excited to bring The Lorax to CTC after a successful history at The Old Vic.
The Team is seeking diverse dancer/singers preferably with both classical and jazz dance training, with creative and dramatic instinct. Acrobat and gymnastic experience is a plus!
WHEN / WHERE
Auditions will be held at CTC (2400 3rd Ave S) August 23rd- 26th, with potential callbacks on August 27th. Pending scheduling, you may be asked to attend multiple audition days.

STUDENT CORDUROY AUDITIONS
CTC is seeking student actors between ages 10 and 18 for multiple roles in the upcoming world-premiere of Corduroy, based on the popular children's books, Corduroy and A Pocket for Corduroy by Don Freeman, adapted for the stage by Barry Kornhauser and directed by Peter C. Brosius. Rehearsals begin January 30th, 2018 and runs through May 13th with a 1-week possible extension.
We are seeking student actors for the following roles:
Lisa: (reads 9-11 years old) African American female
2 Teens: 1 male, 1 female- age 14-18 (if 18, must still be in high school). Preferred strong physical mover with any gymnastics, clowning, circus training, etc.
Auditions are August 29-31st at CTC.
