Children and their accompanying adults will play together to expand social and motor skills while exploring storytelling, puppets, music, and more.

Discovery Theatre (Ages 3-4)

Creative Discovery

Use imagination to explore new and exciting parts of the world. The treasures found along the way will inspire the development of a story that carries us throughout the universe and beyond. Learn theatre games and acting exercises, free your creative spirit, and build a dynamic ensemble of actors.

Step into the Story (Ages 3-4)

Creative Discovery

Adventures in Art and Storytelling (Ages 3-4)

Creative Discovery

Embrace your inner artist as you explore storytelling and character-building with a big splash of visual art. Read books, act stories, and move to the music alongside art projects and theatre crafts including costume, prop, and puppet creations.

This energetic class emphasizes imagination, coordination, body awareness, and fine and gross motor skills. Songs, games, and dances help to teach the elements of movement while developing independence, cooperation, and communication.

Bring stories to life through musical theatre. We will use our bodies, voices, faces, and imagination to create a musical with original songs, choreography, and scenery.

Explore the “stuff” of theatre! Theatre games, ensemble exercises, and a hands-on approach allow students to explore sets, costumes, props, and lights as inspiration to create stories and characters. Plus, take a backstage tour of CTC’s professional mainstage theatre (subject to availability).
