CTC is often the first theater children in Minnesota attend. This initial performance can transform their lives. It doesn't matter if these children grow up to be doctors, farmers, teachers, lawyers or legislators. Theater gives the young people the tools and inspiration they need to go out and embrace our amazing world.
Most people don't realize that purchasing a ticket to a CTC production or paying tuition for a TAT class only covers 50% of our yearly budget. Donations from friends like YOU account for the other half, enabling us to continue producing high-quality programming that is accessible to all the children in our community.

CTC donors play a major role in helping:
- Provide arts education programs to more than 3,000 students a year
- Maintain a permanent acting company - CTC is one of the last theaters in the nation to have such a program
- Create new work for young people. CTC's new play laboratory, Threshold, supports the development of new productions for our stages. More than 30 new plays have been created since 1998.
- Help train tomorrow's theater professionals by funding scholarships for our Theatre Arts Training classes
