Theatre Arts Training’s Junior Company Presents:
BOO-LA-LA: A Wordless Adventure Through Life, Death, and the In-Between
Devised by the Ensemble
Co-Directed by Jay Eisenberg and Cat Hammond
Until yesterday, Theo never lost a best friend.
Until yesterday, Ray never died.
And neither one of them ever maintained a long-distance friendship between here and the afterlife.
But starting now: they sure are going to try.
Devised with the ensemble and told entirely without words, BOO-LA-LA is a reckoning with the kind of grief that leaves you speechless.
It's part clown show, part puppet show, part movement piece.
If it moves you, you might call it a moving piece.
Junior Company is part of Theatre Arts Training’s Pre-Professional Training for students seriously considering a future in the arts. Students in this program are challenged to expand their skill set in a disciplined and technique-driven atmosphere.
