Student matinee reservations for Forts! are open to educational groups of 15+.

Each performance of Forts! has a capacity of 35 people including adults. There must be 1 adult for every 6 students. A ratio of 1:5 is recommended for younger ages.

What grades/ages will be attending each performance?*

Forts! Build Your Own Adventure is recommended for students in Preschool-Grade 6.

How many people total will attend each performance?*

If booking multiple performances, please give a number for each performance. For example, if you're booking four performances, you might enter "30, 35, 33, and 29."

How many students will attend each performance?*

Please give a number for each performance (i.e. 25, 30, 27, and 25). There must be 1 adult for every 6 children. For younger ages, a ratio of 1:5 is recommended.

How many adults will attend each performance?*

Please give a number for each performance (i.e. 5, 5, 6, and 4). Include any adult who will be coming inside to the theatre (teachers, support staff, parent chaperones, bus drivers, etc.). There must be 1 adult for every 6 children.

Please attempt to only reserve the tickets you need. If enrollment is likely to increase, reserve just a few (1-3) more student seats than you currently need. You may drop seats until Final Numbers/Cancellation Deadline six weeks prior to performance; however, reserving significantly more seats than you will use prohibits other groups from attending. Student seats can be added at any time as long as tickets are still available.

CTC will do everything possible to place your group into your first or second choice performance. However, space tends to fill up quickly. The more dates you are available, the more likely it is that CTC will be able to accommodate your group.

Children's Theatre Company is committed to ensuring that field trips are successful for all students. To help us do so, please indicate any visual or hearing impairments, mobility limitations, sensory sensitivities, or other access needs you would like us to be aware of.

Lunch Space Reservation Request

CTC offers a limited number of lunch reservation spaces for schools that come from a great distance, schools combining a trip to CTC with a trip to Mia, or schools that will miss lunch while at CTC.
The lunch space, located in our lobbies, allows for a picnic-style lunch on the floor of the lobby. This is not a private space and may be shared between multiple schools.
CTC provides garbage cans but does not provide tables, chairs, or refrigeration.

Help CTC keep lunch space available for groups who need it to make their trips possible and do not reserve lunch space unless you have no other options for eating.

CTC at Your School

In addition to field trip experiences, CTC’s Education Department offers School Residencies and Pre- and Post-Show Workshops. We send members of our trained Teaching Artist staff to your school for customizable experiences from hour-long workshops to semester-long residencies.
