Give to the Max Day

What if Everyone Had Access to World-Class Theatre?

As a Children’s Theatre Company donor, you do more than help us create world-class art. You help us work toward a future where everybody can experience extraordinary theatre at CTC. Last season, 2,200+ families had access to financial aid for CTC performances and Theatre Arts Training (TAT) classes through our access program, ACT Pass. Because you give, the families enrolled in ACT Pass received more than 15,690 $5 tickets and 376 TAT scholarships last year.

For parents like Maria, this financial aid can make all the difference. She was looking for arts opportunities for her children Enzo and Luca when she discovered the ACT Pass. “When I found out that there’s a way for ACT Pass holders to have scholarships for the classes and discount tickets, I was thrilled because I was able to provide them with experiences that I couldn’t afford before,” says Maria.

Maria and her family have since made CTC part of their arts tradition. They attend shows, participate in TAT classes, and even perform on CTC’s stage! You may recognize Enzo and Luca from last season’s production of I Come From Arizona.

“Without ACT Pass, we wouldn’t be able to come to as many shows as we have,” says Maria. “We really love them … Live theatre is an experience like no other. It’s special.”

When you support CTC, you help give families like Maria’s the gift of theatre.

This year, CTC’s Board of Directors have generously committed a Give to the Max Day challenge grant of $25,000 towards our $50,000 goal.

Give between now and November 14, 2019, and support CTC’s access programs, like the ACT Pass! Your gift of only $50 subsidizes two tickets, while $150 funds an average TAT scholarship.

Enjoy donor benefits, like invitations to behind-the-scenes events, when you give $100 or more. Thank you for your support!
