Onstage (Ages 4 – 5)
Explore the “stuff” of theatre! A hands-on approach allows students to explore sets, costumes, props, and lights as inspiration to create stories and characters. Plus, take a backstage tour of one of CTC’s professional theatres (subject to availability).

Theatre Magic (Grades K – 5)
Costumes and lighting and scenery, oh my! Follow CTC’s process of putting on the show Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds to explore a new aspect of producing a play each week. Tour our shops, look at the designs for the show, and create your own design ideas to share with our professional designers. Tuition includes one student ticket to CTC’s Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds, January 19 – March 1, 2020.

Become a tech assistant for our Junior Company show Sideways Stories from Wayside School. Learn the basics of theatrical lighting and sound, tour our sound booth and lighting inventory, explore the technical differences between our three stages, and assist with the running of lights and sound for a Theatre Arts Training production. The tech assistants will attend all technical rehearsals (March 16 – 18) and performances (March 19 – 22), as well as some additional earlier rehearsals, and will be invited to production meetings and dry tech. Full schedule is TBD, January 21 – March 22.
