Thank you for your interest in Generation Now’s first reading series, featuring three brand-new commissioned plays from our Generation Now cohort! Generation Now, an initiative generously funded by the Mellon Foundation, seeks to create 16 new plays/musicals for multigenerational audiences and is a collaborative effort between CTC, Ma-Yi Theater, Latino Theater Company, Native Voices, and Penumbra Theatre Company.

Comanche Girl on the Moon

Comanche Girl on the Moon is an interplanetary adventure that follows Petu, a young Comanche girl, in her flight to the moon to reconnect with her late grandmother. She encounters mystical characters and friends along the way and tells a story that honors and celebrates Comanche artists and storytellers before her.
