Audition Submissions with all materials are due October 7, 2020.
Institute is CTC’s 4-year high school training program. Auditions for the Class of 2024 are open to students entering 9th grade in the fall of 2020.
Fall Session (9-weeks online): October 12 – December 14, 2020, 5-7pm CT. (No class November 23) CT
Winter Session (9-weeks online): Mondays, January 25 – March 22, 2021, 5-7pm CT
Spring Session (TBD online or in person): Dates and times will be determined in January 2021

Step One: Prepare a one-minutes memorized monologue. A monologue is a section from a play that one character speaks, typically a large paragraph. Students are encouraged to find their own monologue from a play they are passionate about. Film yourself performing the monologue. Title your video in the following format (Monologue_Last Name_First Name)

Step Two: Respond in writing (2 paragraph maximum) or on video (one minute maximum) to the question "what does ensemble mean to you and why is it important to theatre making?"

Step Three: Upload a resume listing previous theatre or performance experience and training or list experiences below.
