Gift Planning

The most common donations to CTC are outright gifts, such as cash or a check, which we receive right away. Many times, however, people want to hold on to their money and other assets for now, just to be sure they can meet their family's future financial needs. If this sounds like you, we have excellent alternatives that would allow you to still make a gift - or to make a larger gift. These options are known as "planned" gifts. They can be revocable - a charitable bequest in your will, for example - so you can change your mind at any time. Or, they can be irrevocable - just as outright gifts are - so that you benefit from an immediate income tax deduction.

We're here to answer any questions you might have about planned giving. We can examine your particular situation and, together with your attorney and/or financial advisors, help you find ways to support our mission while ensuring your family's financial security.

Estate gifts are critical to ensuring CTC's future presence in our community and our continuing leadership in the field of American theater. Your planned gift would become part of CTC's endowment, a fund that is invested to generate income for the important work CTC does each day. Your gift would serve as an enduring legacy of your generosity.

CTC invites those who have included CTC in their estate plans to be part of our Encore Circle.
