THEATRE ARTS TRAINING Junior Internships for High School Students
Children’s Theatre Company is looking for a few extraordinary high school students to assist with Theatre Arts Training classes during the 2016-2017 academic year. If you are planning on a career in theatre, this is your chance to work and learn alongside our veteran teaching staff and industry professionals here at CTC. This aggressively hands-on junior internship will have you immersed in theatre, working directly with students in one of our many Theatre Arts Training classes. (Classes take place on weekday evenings or Saturdays.)

Junior Interns recieve special benefits such as select free TAT Classes, free ticket offers to local theatre, and opportunities for master classes with industry professionals. If you’re ready to get a jumpstart on your career in the arts, this is the place to do it. For more information or to apply, please contact Sydney Mitgang at [email protected].

NEIGHBORHOOD BRIDGES Junior Internships for High School Students
As part of the Center for Innovation in Theatre Education, the Neighborhood Bridges program internships are designed for students who are interested in how storytelling, theatre and creative writing are used to empower students to become animators of their own lives.

Learning projects/events may include: Bridges Day, scenic artist sessions, the Crossing Bridges Festival, Bridges conference and assessments and evaluation projects with the Center for Applied Research and Educational Improvement at the University of Minnesota. The Interns will observe the Community Engagement team (Neighborhood Bridges Program Director, Director of Community Engagement, Community Engagement Manager, and East Metro Coordinator) as well as the Bridges teaching artist staff.

Neighborhood Bridges Interns must be available during the school day and able to travel to off-site meetings and programs. For more information or to apply, please contact Maria Asp at 612.872.5172 or [email protected]. We are no longer accepting applications for the 2015-16 season. We will re-open our request for 2016-17 applications in May of 2016.
