This musical theatre class for kids in grades 3-5 is designed to strengthen and build on students’ existing acting and vocal skills. Students will study the disciplines of musical theatre, dance, voice, and acting. Each session will focus on a different musical, and students will work toward a cabaret–style performance at the conclusion of each session.

You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown
Based on the beloved Charles Schulz comic strip and full of charm, wit, and heart, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown explores life through the eyes of Charlie Brown and his friends in the Peanuts gang. Join them as they explore life’s great questions as they play baseball, struggle with homework, sing songs, swoon over their crushes, and celebrate the joy of friendship.

Seussical
Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical, a fantastical musical extravaganza. Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family, and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!
