This intensive, performance-based class is designed for experienced students who are ready to apply and refine their skills in a rigorous rehearsal setting. With committed young artists in mind, the Conservatory focuses on the integration of acting, singing, and dance through the process of building musical theatre performances. Working with professional teaching artists, students engage in a rehearsal process modeled after professional productions, with an emphasis on character development, musical storytelling, and ensemble work. Participants are expected to prepare material outside of class and actively engage in feedback and revision. The program culminates in a final sharing featuring ensemble numbers and scenes, offering students the opportunity to bring their training into a cohesive, performance-driven experience.
