Land Acknowledgement
Children’s Theatre Company (CTC) acknowledges that we are now stewards of the land the Wahpekute People of the Dakota Nation still call home. The Wahpekute have been occupants of this land for thousands of years. We acknowledge the painful history of unfair and unfulfilled treaties and years of genocide. It is our responsibility to the Wahpekute and the entire Dakota Nation to together honor their lives, tell their stories, and reimagine our future.
