CTC offers school groups the flexibility to reserve now and pay later! We know that it’s a big responsibility to plan a field trip, so we try to keep it as simple as possible. Choose your show and submit an online Ticket Request form.

Neighborhood Bridges Classroom with Breck interns

Pre and Post-Show Workshops


Extend the field trip experience with a pre or post show workshop in your classroom or at CTC. These 1-hour interactive workshops develop personal relevance with the characters and themes of the play while engaging their body, voice and imagination.

Kids in Lobby

Lunch Space


CTC offers a limited number of lunch space reservations for schools for a small fee. The lunch space, located in our lobbies, allows for a picnic-style lunch on the floor, and may be shared between multiple groups. Request lunch space for a small fee when requesting tickets.

Museum Tours


Children’s Theatre Company is located next door to the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Interested in booking a tour or self-guided visit at the Minneapolis Institute of Art on the same day as your CTC performance? After you receive your performance date, contact Mia to schedule your tour. All school groups wishing to visit Mia must have a reservation. Email tours@artsmia.org with any questions.
